The Custom Wedding Stationery Experience
The process begins with a personal consultation to understand your vision, aesthetic, and the details that inspire your celebration.
Each design is then thoughtfully developed through original artwork, custom illustration, and intentional composition to create stationery that feels both refined and uniquely yours.
-
The process begins after you’ve submitted your inquiry form. Once submitted, the studio’s service guide will be shared with you. This guide includes details on process, timelines, pricing, and more to help answer any initial questions.
You can also review the custom stationery FAQ for additional insight into the studio’s practices and process
-
Once you’ve reviewed the guide, please reach out to schedule a 20-minute discovery call or to request an estimate.
Discovery calls are an opportunity to ensure we’re a strong creative fit while gaining a clear understanding of your vision. The details we discuss will be used to create a customized project proposal and estimate.
-
After our discovery call, I will begin preparing your estimate and project proposal. The details you share will guide the creation of a proposal that accurately reflects your stationery needs.
-
Once you’ve accepted your project proposal and paid your deposit, you will be officially added to the client roster.
At that point, you will receive all onboarding instructions and materials to help guide our creative design process.
The Design Process
ONBOARDING
This is when the foundation for your custom stationery is set. During this time, you’ll complete and submit a short design inspiration questionnaire. We will also have an hour-long design call where we will have an in-depth talk about color, imagery and style.
CONCEPT & SKETCHING
This is where the stationery concept begins to take visual form. A thoughtfully prepared dossier showcasing a refined mood board, sketches and a color palette will be presented to you. Once both the sketches and the color palette are approved, we’ll move forward into the illustration phase.
DESIGN & DELIVERY
With sketches approved, the final design phase begins. The compositions and elements of your stationery are hand-drawn, and illustrated into high-resolution files ready for production. Ultimately leaving each client with a cohesive, one-of-a-kind stationery suite.
FAQs
How far in advance should I get in touch?
1
I recommend reaching out at least 4–6 months before your wedding date to allow time for design, revisions and print production. For peak season dates we recommend booking earlier
Do you help with printing?
2
Yes — print production can be managed on your behalf, sourcing the right paper stocks and finishes to bring your suite to life. Alternatively, I can provide print-ready files if you have a preferred printer.
Can you create custom illustrations for our suite?
3
Yes — custom illustration is available as an addition to any stationery project. As illustration is bespoke to each brief, it is priced separately and will be outlined in your proposal following your enquiry
How many revisions are included in the custom stationery service?
4
Custom stationery includes two rounds of edits during the sketching phase and one round of minor edits during the painting phase. The painting-phase edits are limited to color adjustments or adding motifs—the overall composition cannot be changed once painted.
It is encouraged to communicate all imagery and color palette preferences before the sketching phase begins to minimize the need for extra edits beyond the two included rounds. After the allotted round of edits have been used an additional fee of $300 will be charged.
